Musician’s I’ve Met

I’m sure we’ve all had our fair share of meeting some famous or semi famous people. For today’s post, I wanted to talk about some of the people I’ve met over the past years.

In 2009, I had went with an ex-boyfriend to see David Phelps at Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was performing a Christmas concert.

Then in 2011, Jason Gray came to First Baptist Church in Proctorville, Ohio for a Youth Program concert.

In 2012, my ex-boyfriend had got tickets as a late birthday present to see Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battistelli and Adam Cappa for the We Cry Out tour. Had the chance to meet Adam, and he was really sweet. My favorite song of his was, The Rescue. Its an amazing catchy song.

Also in 2012, the Jason Lovins Band came to First Baptist Church in Proctorville also. I even had the chance to watch over his merch table for a little bit.

2013 ended up being the most amazing year ever. January 2013 I went to Winterjam in Charleston, West Virginia. It’s a huge Christian concert they do every year. The whole arena was packed when we got there, so some of the artists came out into the lobby and performed for us there before or after they did their actual performance inside. It was awesome being able to meet Jason Castro. He was a contestant on American Idol and I had even done a cover of one of his songs on a precious YouTube channel I had. He even said he seen it when I tweeted it to him. It was the highlight of my night.

Then in July, I went to the Gallia County Fair with a couple friends and met Anthem Lights. They are a Christian band but they also create their own genre melodies of different songs on their YouTube channel. They have even received props from Demi Lovato herself. This was just 3 of the 4 guys. At the time Alan Powell was part of the band, then later left to pursue his acting career. Then later on, Spencer Kane joined the group and they have since then grown as a group and individually with their own music as well.

Then in November, I had saved up for VIP tickets to go see Toby Mac for his Hits Deep Tour. This guy here, Timmy Rose was Toby Mac’s drummer.

Also had the chance to meet Chris August and one his performers.

Meeting Colton Dixon was definitely the highlight of my night. He was also a contestant on American Idol and made it to the top 10. He has definitely gone places since then.

I definitely hope to meet many more amazing people. I was looking across some photos on my instagram, and it gave me inspiration to write this post, so I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know in the comments if you have met any famous people.
